This program trains users and residents in good environmental practices, educates children, youth, and adults in caring for the environment, and raises awareness among the general public about the importance of coral reefs through non-formal education.

Objectives:

• Promoting a change in attitudes and thoughts in favor of the conservation of marine and coastal resources from children to adults through environmental education in educational centers and universities in Tela Bay.

• Empower communities, users, and inhabitants to embrace the values and benefits derived from the conservation of their protected areas and to promote sustainable ecological development, improving their quality of life.

• Promote actions for the conservation of coral reefs, including all users and inhabitants of the area, through environmental activities within Tela Bay.
